Meet the Maker
Jillian Kathleen
I’m Jillian, a costume designer for film and television, with a passion for using botanicals and natural plant dyes to transform recycled textiles and garments into slow made handcrafted wearable works of art.
The waste and consumption of fast fashion is unsustainable. The clothes are cheaply made out of synthetic fibers and of the moment trends. I offer an alternative to fast fashion over-consumption by providing timeless well made second hand garments consisting of recycled natural fibers including Cottons, Linens, Silks, and Wools.
These unique botanical works of art are wearable statement pieces honoring nature with the use of eco-dyeing, eco-printing, natural plant dyes & visible mending techniques. Moth in the Gloam embraces the untamable beauty of nature in its wildest forms!

Moth in the Gloam creates one-of-a-kind, upcycled goods that honor nature’s untamable beauty. Eco-dyed and eco-printed in small batches with real florals and foliage on natural fibers, each piece emerges like a twilight spell—echoing enchanted meadows, shadowy forests, and murky waters. Every article is a singular work of wearable art, so you can carry a bit of the wild with you, wherever you go. My mission is to connect you with unique creations while promoting sustainable practices and fostering an appreciation of the crossroads between art and nature.
